At Gary Mason Construction, we believe the process shouldn’t feel chaotic. We don’t leave things to chance, and we don’t expect you to have all the answers.
From first conversation to final walk-through, our job is to take the pressure off you, while keeping your vision, budget, and schedule firmly on track.
Everything starts with a conversation. You tell us what you’re building and any challenges you’re expecting or worried about. We’ll ask questions, offer honest feedback, and make sure we’re the right builder for the job.
Every site has a story, especially hillside or heritage ones. We walk the land or property with you, review any plans or concepts you have, and identify any red flags, technical challenges, or council considerations upfront. We ensure you understand exactly what’s possible and what it will take.
No one likes budget surprises. We break the project down into stages, map out the costs clearly, and explain any variables that could affect pricing. We work with your architect, engineer, or designer to get this right from the beginning.
Based on the scope, we create a realistic project timeline that includes weather contingencies, material lead times, and any other dependencies. You’ll know when things will happen and who’s on-site.
You’ll get clear communication through face to face, phone, email or text on what’s been done, what’s next, and any issues that need quick decisions. Our crew is respectful, detail-oriented, and focused on quality craftsmanship. Council inspectors often comment on it. You will too.
Things change. Plans evolve. We’re used to it. When something unexpected comes up, we don’t panic, we adapt. Quickly! Our job is to keep the momentum going, not stall it.
We don’t just toss you the keys and disappear. We walk you through your finished build, answer every question, and follow up to make sure everything’s working as expected.
Before we call a project done, we check and re-check to make sure everything meets our high standards. Our aim is to exceed your expectations.
At Gary Mason Construction, every decision we make, every conversation we have, and every nail we drive is built around three core beliefs:
